There’s still time — try these 6 dishes at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

After you’ve worked up an appetite Soarin’ Around the World, head to World Showcase to sample this year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival offerings. The global marketplaces will be open until November 19, and we’ve rounded up the six best dishes from this year’s lineup.

1. TOSTADA DE BARBCOA

Tostada de Barbacoa

It’s hard to believe so much flavor fits on a little tostada! This handheld dish comes piled high with barbacoa beef, chipotle black beans, salsa verde, Mexican crema, queso fresco, and chives on a fried corn tortilla.

Find it in: Mexico

2. DANDAN NOODLES

Dandan Noodles

New this year, the Dandan Noodles are worth the wait in a usually long line (for good reason). Topped with spicy pork, Sichuan sauce, peanut butter, sesames, and green onions, this dish brings the heat…and the flavor.

Find it in: China

3. MONGOLIAN BEEF BAO

Mongolian Beef Bao

Perfectly tender beef, served on a fluffy bao — the perfect carb to fuel an afternoon of theme park adventures.

Find it in: China

4. GNOCCHI DI PATATE

Gnocchi di Patate

Though I miss the mozzarella-filled Mezzelune Croccanti from last year’s festival, these exciting little potato dumplings are served in a hearty scoop of vodka sauce and topped with Romano cheese and crispy bacon.

Find it in: Italy

5. BELGIAN WAFFLE

Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache

Whether a breakfast treat or post-dinner dessert, this little waffle is smothered in warm chocolate ganache and topped with a dollop of whipped cream.

Find it in: Belgium (between France and Morocco)

6. COWBOY MACARONI AND CHEESE

Cowboy Macaroni and Cheese

The folks on Disney’s culinary team knew mac ‘n cheese is one of the most ideal theme park snacks. The Cowboy option is topped with smoked pork belly, brisket burnt ends, crispy onion straws, pickled peppers, and a drizzle of barbecue aïoli.

Find it in: Mac & Eats (near Mission Space)
